Jessica Hische

Jessica is a Tyler School of Art graduate of the Graphic design program. Her work involves typeface, and typeface only. She works for a big company and has a lot of say in what she wants to create. the perks of having a creative job. On the other hand she works like nonstop, hopefully she doesnt do as much work as us poor little foundation students. Biggest lesson learned: a nice artist who is mediocre will find the same work as a nasty artist who is great.

Bauhaus
I attended a lecture the other day. The topic of the lecture was about trying to make our artist equipment state of the art and in tune with the 21st century. To be honest, I some what agree, but if you do not have 21st century equipment, than create art anyway!

Drink from Whole Foods on South St.
View from Roof Top in Center City
Schuylkill River
I just moved to Philadelphia two weeks ago so I could attend Temple University. Of course, i have been exploring the Temple campus, but I have also been exploring the city outside of campus. I have been to some "famous Philly" spots like South St, Rittenhouse, and Washington Square, but i have also been to a lot of places that most people wouldn't be excited to go if they have never been to Philadelphia before, like this rooftop, right in the middle of center city where you can see the whole city around you, or the edge of the Schuylkill River near the train tracks.  I personally believe these places were more beautiful than the more well known areas of Philadelphia, and certainly more worth your while.
